You will need:
YarnArt Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50 g/160 m)
2.0 mm crochet hook
Black beads for eyes and nose
Black embroidery floss for eyebrows
Yarn needle and scissors
Fiberfill
Free crochet mouse pattern
Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
BLO – back loop only
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
Legs, body and head (single part)
Legs (make 2)
With pink yarn:
R 1: 7 sc in magic ring [7]
R 2: 7 sc
Change to green yarn:
R 3: BLO 7 sc
R 4: 7 sc
Crochet the second leg, do not fasten off.
Make 1 ch and join with the first leg.
Continue crocheting in the body:
R 5: 7 sc on the first leg, 1 sc in 1 ch, 7 sc on the second leg, 1 sc in 1 ch (opposite side) [16]
R 6: 16 sc
Change to red yarn:
R 7: BLO 16 sc
R 8: 3 sc, dec, 6 sc, dec, 3 sc [14]
R 9: 3 sc, dec, 5 sc, dec, 2 sc [12]
R 10: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [8]
Change to white yarn:
R 11: (inc) repeat 6 times [16]
R 12: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times [24]
R 13-16: 24 sc (4 rows)
R 17: (2 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [18]
R 18: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [12]
R 19: (dec) repeat 6 times [6]
Fasten off.
Arms (make 2)
R 1: 5 sc in magic ring [5]
Change to red yarn:
R 2: BLO 5 sc
R 3-4: 5 sc (2 rows)
Fold the top opening flat and sc through both sides.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Ears
With white yarn (make 2)
R 1: 12 dc in magic ring [12]
Do not fasten off.
With pink yarn (make 2)
R 1: 12 sc in magic ring [12]
Fasten off.
Put the pink ear on the white ear (wrong side to wrong side) and crochet sc through the stitches of both parts around.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
